Who Is HAVO?
HAVO Group AG is a Switzerland-wide trading company based in Aarburg. The company supplies commercial refrigeration, freezing, and food-warming equipment to many well-known customers.
Beyond its core business, HAVO provides a broad after-sales and service offering, tailored to each client’s needs.
Why a new office was necessary
The continuous growth in staff numbers gradually pushed the previous office to its capacity limits. At the same time, the planned renovation and expansion of the warehouse facilities required a spatial reorganisation.
As part of this process, the move to renovated and modern office premises was carried out, providing an opportunity to redesign the work environment and create future-oriented solutions for the employees.
What We Needed to Solve
It quickly became clear that designing an open-plan office is more complex than it looks. Ergonomics, lighting, acoustics, and space planning raised new questions for HAVO, and internal DIY attempts hit their limits.
To ensure the new workstations were not only functional but also compliant and future-ready, outside expertise was essential.
