Concordance SA is a leading catering company in the Vaud and Geneva cantons, delivering an average of 5,000 meals daily to schools, daycare centers, institutions, companies, and senior homes.
As a growing company, Concordance focuses not only on the quality of its services but also on the well-being of its employees.
Need for Ergonomic Workstations
Concordance recognized the need to make workstations more ergonomic. Previously, employees worked exclusively in seated positions, leading to dissatisfaction and health issues.
The goal was to design workstations that allow employees to alternate between sitting and standing positions to promote their health and productivity.
Customized Ergonomic Solutions
Concordance decided to leverage the expertise of Schäfer Shop to develop customized ergonomic solutions. This included the introduction of electrically height-adjustable desks, allowing employees to change their working position throughout the day.
By closely collaborating with Schäfer Shop, the needs of the employees were identified and appropriate solutions were developed.

The Schäfer Shop team developed a customized concept for Concordance based on the needs of the employees. The planning and implementation were carried out in carefully planned phases, with Schäfer Shop coordinating schedules, service providers, and suppliers.
The new ergonomic desks were successfully integrated, and the employees were trained in their use.
