For nearly twenty years, Alemania Deutschschule has been teaching German at three locations. Every day, learners from more than fifty nations join its classes in Bern, Zurich and Lucerne.
With a faculty of ninety dedicated instructors, Alemania is one of Switzerland’s largest private German schools.
Nine New Classrooms
The Bern site was slated for major growth in 2024. The plan called for nine classrooms, each seating twelve to sixteen students, and lessons had to resume only three days after the move.
Previous desks were too narrow, so learners juggled up to three textbooks plus notes. The financial framework was clearly set and lean, leaving no room for overruns.
On-the-dot delivery for opening
Alemania reviewed several suppliers and once again chose Schäfer Shop.
Key reasons were value for money, stackable chairs with real sitting comfort, and the commitment to have more than seventy percent of the order on site exactly on the target date.
More Space and More Light
The wider, light-toned desks give students plenty of room for textbooks, laptops and notes. Since tables and chairs are feather-light, the room can switch from classic rows to group clusters or exam layouts in minutes.
Stackable chairs make moving between classrooms easy and free up storage. Heavy-duty cabinets protect teaching materials, classes run smoothly and maintenance costs stay in check.
